newspaper(報(bào)紙)可數(shù)嗎

許多同學(xué)為便于記憶，學(xué)將 newspaper 分解為 news（消息）和 paper（紙）——也就是說，把“消息”印在“紙”上就成了“報(bào)紙”。由于news（消息）和 paper（紙）均為不可數(shù)名詞，所以許多同學(xué)就想當(dāng)然地認(rèn)為 newspaper（報(bào)紙）也是一個(gè)不可數(shù)名詞，但是，錯(cuò)了！當(dāng)我們把 newspaper 當(dāng)作一種供閱讀或傳遞信息的東西時(shí)，它是可數(shù)的——可以連用不定冠詞，也可以使用復(fù)數(shù)形式。如：

但是，假若將其僅僅當(dāng)作一種“紙”來看待，則可以是不可數(shù)的。如：
