連接代詞與疑問代詞有何區別

一、什么叫疑問代詞

疑問代詞就是用于引出特殊疑問句的代詞，如 who, what, which, whose 等。如：

Who won the men’s finals in the tennis? 誰贏了男子網球決賽？

Who’s doing the food for your party? 誰為你的派對準備食品？

What time is the next bus due? 下一班公車什么時候來？

What was her explanation for why she was late? 她是如何解釋她遲到的原因的？

Which minister carries responsibility for the police? 哪位部長負責警察部門？

Which graduates command the highest salaries? 哪些畢業生可以得到最高的薪水？

Whose stupid idea was this?  這是誰的蠢主意？

Whose name is after yours on the list? 名單上誰的名字排在你的后面？

二、什么叫連接代詞

當疑問代詞用于引導名詞性從句或不定式時，它就叫連接代詞。如：

I really don’t know what all the fuss is about. 我真不知道這么大驚小怪到底是怎么回事。

Tell me what happened—start at the beginning. 告訴我發生了甚么事——從頭說起。

I don’t know what finally decided her, but she agreed. 我不知道是什么讓她最終拿定了主意，但她還是同意了。

He quickly assessed what alternatives were open to him. 他迅速估計了一下他有哪些辦法可以采用。

It was several minutes before we realised what was happening. 幾分鐘以后我們才明白發生了什么事情。

He revealed who leaked a confidential police report. 他說出了泄露警方機密報告內容的人。
