過去分詞的一般式、進行式、完成式、被動式

一、過去分詞的一般式

規則動詞的過去分詞與過去式一樣，由動詞加-ed構成，而不規則動詞的過去分詞則需逐個記憶。如：

Rejected by all his friends, he decided to become a monk. 由于被所有朋友所拋棄，他決定去當和尚。

Driven beyond endurance, he ran away from the plantation. 他忍無可忍從種植園逃了出來。

Asked for an explanation, Mike had fumbled for words. 要求他作出解釋時，邁克支支吾吾找話說。

二、過去分詞的進行式和完成式

過去分詞與現在分詞不同，過去分詞通常只有一般式，既沒有進行式也沒有完成式。如：

這東西同牛奶和糖一起吃，是一頓美味的早飯。

正：Served with milk and sugar, it makes a delicious breakfast.

誤：Been served with milk and sugar, it makes a delicious breakfast.

三、過去分詞的被動式

大家知道，過去分詞本身可以表示被動意義，所以它沒有被動式。如：

在她的榜樣的鼓舞下，他們都懷著新的使命感投入到工作中。

誤：Been encouraged by her example, they all set to work with a fresh sense of purpose.

正：Encouraged by her example, they all set to work with a fresh sense of purpose.
