consider的用法與句型搭配

1. 表示“考慮”，其后可接名詞、動名詞或從句作賓語（但不能接不定式作賓語）。如：

Please consider my suggestion. 請考慮我的建議。

She is considering going to Europe. 她在考慮去歐洲。

雖然 consider（考慮）之后不能直接跟不定式作賓語，但卻可以接“疑問詞+不定式”。如：

He considered how to answer.=He considered how he could answer. 他考慮如何回答。

2. 表示“認為”“把……看作”，比較以下同義句型：

我們認為他是我們的朋友。

正：We consider him (as) our friend.

正：We consider him (to be) our friend.

正：We consider that he is our friend.

3. 后接不定式的復合結構作賓語時，其不定式通常為 to be。如：

Do you consider that to be important? 你認為這重要嗎？

You shouldn’t consider him to be a selfish man. 你不應當認為他是一個自私的人。

但時時也可能是實義動詞，但此時通常要用完成式（注意其被動形式的使用）。如：

We consider him to have left. 我們認為他已離開。

The campaign was considered to have failed. 這次運動被認為已經失敗。
