show搭配的常用表達和句式

1. 表示“拿……給人看”，可以帶雙賓語。雙賓語易位時，要用介詞 to。如：

把你收集的郵票拿給我們看看好嗎?

正：Will you please show us your stamp collection?

正：Will you please show your stamp collection to us?

誤：Will you please show us your stamp collection to see?

2. 比較以下句子：

He showed me the room. 他帶我看那房間。

He showed me into the room. 他領我進了那房間。

He showed me the door. 他將我逐出門外。

He showed me to the door. 他送我到門口。

用于show sb round [around]，意為“陪某人參觀”“帶某人到處看看”等。如：

Has anyone shown you round yet? 有沒有人帶你四處走走?

We were shown around the school by one of the students. 我們由一名學生領著參觀了學校。

3. 表示通過做示范教某人做某事，其后不接不定式的復合結構，即不用于show sb to do sth，而用show sb how to do sth。如：

他教我們種菜。

正：He showed us how to plant vegetables.

誤：He showed us to plant vegetables.

但是，表示“表明”“證明”時，其后可接不定式的復合結構，但其中的不定式通常為to be或其他動詞的完成式。如：

This showed him to be honest. 這說明他是誠實的。

His record shows him to have worked hard at school. 他的成績證明他在校學習很用功。
