學習賓語從句的六條要領

一、掌握賓語從句的概念

賓語從句即指在主從復合句中用作賓語的從句。如：

I hope you enjoy your holiday. 希望你假期過得愉快。

Ask him which he wants. 問他要哪一個。

He began to think about what he should do. 他開始考慮應當怎樣做。

二、注意賓語從句的時態(tài)

若主句為一般現(xiàn)在時，賓語從句的時態(tài)可根據(jù)情況使用任意時態(tài)；但若主句為一般過去時，則賓語從句必須要用過去的某種時態(tài)與主句呼應。比較：

He says he is busy. 他說他很忙。

He said he was busy. 他說他很忙。

I know you will agree. 我知道你會同意的。

I knew you would agree. 我知道你會同意的。

注意，當賓語的內(nèi)容表示的是客觀真理時，則用一般現(xiàn)在時。如：

The teacher said that the earth turns around the sun. 老師說，地球繞著太陽轉。

三、明確賓語從句的語序

賓語從句尾名詞性從句，不管用什么樣的引導詞引導，賓語從句的語序總是用陳述語序。如：

She asked when she could leave. 她問她何時可以離開。

Please tell me what you need. 請告訴我你需要什么。

四、分清賓語從句的引導詞

1. 用that引導。that只起引導詞作用，不充當句子成分，也沒有詞義，且通常可以省略。如：

We think (that) he will help us. 我們認為他會幫助我們。

He said (that) he was good at English. 他說他擅長英語。

I know (that) he is very busy. 我知道他很忙。

2. 用 if 或 whether 引導。if 和 whether 引導賓語從句，不充當句子成分，但有詞義，表示“是否”。如：

I don’t know if [whether] he will come. 我不知道他是否會來。

She asked if [whether] that was enough. 她問那是否夠了。

I wonder whether [if] it is true. 我不知道是不是真的。

3. 用連接代詞引導。常見的引導賓語從句的連接代詞有what, who, whom, which, whose等。此時要特別注意賓語從句用陳述句詞序，而不用疑問句詞序。如：

She asked who would like to go. 她問誰愿意去。

Tell me whose wallet this is. 告訴我這是誰的錢包.

what引導賓語從句時，有時表示“什么”，有時表示“…所…的”。比較：

I asked what he needed. 我問他需要什么。

I gave him what he needed. 我給了他所需要的東西。

4. 用連接副詞引導。常見的引導賓語從句的連接副詞有when, how, where, why等。此時要特別注意賓語從句用陳述句詞序，而不用疑問句詞序。如：

He knows where they live. 他知道他們住哪里。

Tell us how you are getting on now. 告訴我們你現(xiàn)在過得怎樣？

I can’t tell you why she is crying. 我不能告訴你她為什么哭。

He didn’t say when he would return. 他沒有說什么時候回來。

五、賓語從句與形式賓語 it

當賓語從句后跟有賓語補足語時，通常在賓語從句處使用形式賓語it，而將真正的賓語從句移至句末。如：

I think it best that you should stay here. 我認為你最好住這兒。

He hasn’t made it known when he is going to get married. 他還沒宣布他何時結婚。

六、賓語從句與否定轉移

當動詞 think, believe, suppose, expect, imagine 后接一個表示否定意義的賓語從句時，其否定通常轉移到主句。如：

I don’t think that it is worth doing. 我認為這不值得做。

I don’t believe that he will help us. 我相信他不會來。
