考點(diǎn)三：考查特定語境中成對并列連詞的用法

英語中成對的并列連詞主要有 both…and…, either…or…, neither…nor…, not only…but also…, not…or…等。在考查這些成對并列連詞的用法時(shí)，命題者可能的命題角度有兩個(gè)：一是考查這些成對并列連詞的正確搭配，二是考查它們在具體語境中的用法。如：

Neither her father nor her mother will go with her. 她的爸爸和媽媽都不會和她一起去。(2016福州中考題)

Good words can touch not only your heart but also mine. 金玉良言不僅可以觸動你的心靈，也可以觸動我的心靈。(2016陜西中考題)

In 2022, Beijing will host the Winter Olympics. Both my brother and I want to watch it. 2022年，北京將舉辦冬季奧運(yùn)會。我和弟弟都想去看。

【典型考題】

(1)—What do you think of your English teacher?

—I like him very much. He is ______ kind ______ hard-working. (2016丹東中考題)

A. either, or        B. neither, nor                                   C. not, or     D. not only, but also

分析：答案為D。根據(jù)前文說的“我很喜歡他”可知，只有選not only…but also(不但……而且……）句子意思才通順。句意為：“你認(rèn)為你的英語老師怎樣？”“我很喜歡他。他不僅很友善，而且很勤奮。”

(2) There’s no ticker left for Lang Lang’s piano concert. ______ you ______ your sister can go to it . (2016蘇州中考題)

A. Both; and           B. Not only; but also   C. Either; or        D. Neither; nor

分析：答案選 D。由于沒有音樂會的票了，所以兩個(gè)人都不能去聽音樂會，即選 Neither…nor…（既不……也不……；……和……都不），用于否定兩者。句意為：郎朗鋼琴音樂會的門票沒有了。你和你姐姐都不能去聽音樂會了。

(3) I have only two tickets of “Kong Fu”. ______ you ______ he can go with me. (2016邵陽中考題)

A. Either; or             B. Neither; nor            C. Both; and

分析：答案選A。前文說我有兩張票，所以“你”和“他”只有一個(gè)人可以跟我一起去。句意為：我只有兩張《功夫》的票，你和他有一個(gè)人可以和跟一起去看。
