做好介詞考題的兩條小技巧

技巧一：根據搭配習慣判斷介詞的使用

英語中的介詞是搭配能力很強的一個詞類，它不僅與動詞、名詞、形容詞等可以構成相應的習慣搭配，而且它經常在某些固定結構構成習慣搭配。

1. 與名詞的習慣搭配

You can buy almost everything ______ the Internet, and it’s very easy. (2016天津中考題)

A. into                   B. for                      C. at                       D. on

解析：答案選D。Internet 意思是“互聯網”，要表示“在互聯網上”，英語習慣上是在名詞 the Internet 前用介詞 on。句意為：你幾乎可以在網上買到所有東西，并且這非常容易。又如：You can find all kinds of information on the internet. 在因特網上你可以找到各種信息。

2. 與動詞的習慣搭配

(1) It’s a good idea to send the old books ______ the children who need them. (2016陜西中考題)

A. at                B. of             C. to             D. by

解析：答案選C。動詞 send 的意思“送”，要表示“把……送給……”，其習慣搭配是 send…to…。句意為：將舊書送給有需要的孩子是個好主意。又如：I’ll send a copy to you. 我會發給你一份復印件。

(2) A good student connects what he reads ______ what he sees around him. (2016蘇州中考題)

A. for                     B. with                   C. in                    D. on

解析：答案選B。動詞 connect 的意思“連接；聯系”，要表示“把……與……聯系（連接）起來”，其習慣搭配是 connect…with…。句意為：一名優秀的學生會將他所讀和他周圍所見到的聯系起來。又如：Connect the speakers to the CD player. 將揚聲器連接到激光唱機上。

3. 與形容詞的習慣搭配

—We must be strict ______ ourselves. —I think so. (2016貴陽中考題)

A. with               B. on                   C. in                    D. by

解析：答案選A。動詞 strict 的意思“嚴格的”，要表示“對……很嚴格”，其后習慣上接介詞with（用于人）或in / about（用于事物）。句意為：“我們必須嚴格要求自己。”“我也是這樣想的。”又如：He’s strict in his work. 他對工作要求很嚴格。

4. 本身所構成的固定搭配

(1) The local community centre is open ______ Monday to Saturday. （2016上海中考題)

A. in                     B. from                  C. for                     D. on

解析：答案選B。本題所涉及的固定搭配是 from…to…，意思是“從……至……”。句意為：當地的社區中心從周一至周六開放。又如：We lived in London from 1960 to 1973. 我們從1960年到1973年住在倫敦。

(2) —The summer vacation is coming. I’m looking forward ______ it.

—Me too. (2016郴州中考題)

A. at                B. to               C. on

解析：答案選B。本題所涉及的固定搭配是 look forward to，意思是“盼望……”（后接名詞、代詞或動名詞）。句意為：“暑假即將到來，我對此很期待。”“我也是。”又如：I’m looking forward to getting his letter. 我盼望著收到他的來信。

5. 語法需要上的習慣搭配

(1) Tim is going to give his father a surprise ______ Father’s Day. (2016青島中考題)

A. in                      B. at                        C. on                      D. by

解析：答案選C。根據英語語法，表示在某一天，時間名詞前習慣上要用介詞on。句意為：蒂姆打算在父親節給爸爸一個驚喜。又如：He’s coming out of hospital on Friday. 他星期五要出院了。

(2) Jim lives ______ a small village and the air there is very fresh. (2016重慶中考題)

A. on                B. in                 C. under           D. from

解析：答案選B。若表示住在某個地方，表示地點的名詞前習慣上要用介詞in。句意為：吉姆住在一個小村莊里，那里的空氣很清新。又如：We went to live in London when I was three. 我3歲時我們到了倫敦居住。

(3) It is necessary ______ us to help our friends out when they meet difficulties. (2016黃石中考題)

A. to                       B. of                       C. with                   D. for

解析：答案選D。根據英語語法，若要在不定式之前帶上其邏輯主語，我們習慣上是在邏輯主語前用介詞 for 來引出邏輯主語。句意為：當朋友遇到困難時，我們有必要幫助他們脫離困境。又如：It’s impossible for me to leave my family. 我是不可能離開家的。
